Delivered critical security screening upgrade to support the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Preclearance program at BBTCA.
As part of Canada’s $30M investment to deliver U.S. CBP Preclearance facilities at Billy Bishop Toronto City Airport, I managed the procurement and installation of an oversized baggage X-ray scanner within the secure preclearance facility. This project was a critical milestone toward enabling U.S.-bound passengers to clear Customs and Immigration before departure, streamlining the travel experience and opening up access to additional U.S. destinations.

Result
The scanner replacement helped advance the broader Preclearance program, which is expected to significantly boost BBTCA’s economic contribution, expand route options, and strengthen cross-border connectivity.
